A message dated May 11, 2004, was read stating the Senate has passed                                
CSHB 233(EDU) am with the following amendment and it is                                             
transmitted for consideration:                                                                      
                                                                                                    
     SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 233(FIN)                                                   
     "An Act increasing the base student allocation used in the formula                             
     for state funding of public education; and providing for an
